About Us

Clive Norman and Mark Nicholas, both time served City and Guilds qualified carpenters, founded Norman and Nicholas Carpentry in mid 1995. Together they used their skills and experience to forge a loyal customer base and the foundations for success were laid.

In 2001, Clive and Mark made the decision to leap into the “spec” housing market. Taking their message of “vision to completion” to new customers, Noman and Nicholas promised an experience that was refreshingly different - trustworthiness and a customer focus that was unusual in the building industry. This approach worked so well they immediately sold two houses and have since gone on to build many more dream homes.

The success in the construction market lead to Norman and Nicholas expanding into contractual building in both the private and public sectors with the result of many satisfied customers. Building on these achievements Norman and Nicholas continue to go from strength to strength.

Norman and Nicholas Ltd employ apprentices as a valuable addition to the business. Today we look to employ two to three apprentices each year and during the peak season, Norman and Nicholas employ up to seventy qualified staff.

Norman and Nicholas provide construction and carpentry services to Ely, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Peterborough and the East of England.
